Who hold high positions in churches, claim they don't "like" abortion but "respect" the government to "stay out of women's bodies". Spineless would be a good starting word. Deep inside they don't believe abortion is murder and that it's just some "party line" they find themselves stuck in. I really wish I could wipe the smiles off their faces after they discard their "pro-life" belief once the coast is clear.
Kind of like a politician who pretends to stand for something, but only because they have to preserve their "darn" principles.
Abortion is murder and it's not some stance you jump on when the season is right. |

Daredevil, I posted a question recently to pastors (on another forum) asking what they believe about abortion and also if they speak against it to their congregation.
The result? A few who believe it is murder preach on it about once a year. Others don't feel it's a "biblical" issue.
I was truly suprised at the number of pastors who think it's ok, and the number of pastors who just didn't respond, which tells me they're too wimpy to take a stand.
Instead of leading a congregation into truth, too many are willing to follow what they believe to be the general belief of the majority of the members.
